Fees

A diagnostic fee of $50 is charged for each product which requires analysis to determine cause of fault and eligibility to repair. No diagnostic fee is charged for product which is determined to be non-repairable by initial visible inspection. Many readers which have lightning damage will fall into this category as the damage can been seen easily by a visual inspection.

Repair charges range from $100 to $150 for each item in the product that is repaired, with a $100 minimum charge. For example, a returned reader that has a cracked case and broken wires will be charged for two repair items.

Diagnostic fees are waived for repaired product. We do not charge for the repair and the diagnostic fee on the same product.

We can return non-repairable product if requested. Customer must pay the freight charges for the return.

Customer pays both incoming and outgoing freight charges. If the diagnostic and repair is covered under warranty, IBC will ship product back to the customer at no charge.
