716 Data Converter
The first and only fully programmable data converter for access systems.
The 716 converter is a user programmable converter which will convert any of the following formats: magnetic stripe (tracks 1 and 2), wiegand (standard, alphanumeric, and aba weigand), serial, wand emulation, and f2f. Up to 250 bits can be processed for both inputs and outputs. The converters has two inputs and two outputs. One of the inputs supports either track 1 magstripe, track 2 magstripe, or standard wiegand. The other input supports rs232 serial. For Usb support, see the model 718 converter. Each input is programmed separately and operates independently of the other.
The converter supports full masking and reorganization of data from both input ports. It can change the organization of wiegand bit streams, insert or override site codes, id numbers, issue codes, and constants. Both MSB modes and LSB modes are supported. Additionally, characters, numbers, or bits can be deleted, inserted, or extracted from any received data prior to transmission. Parity checking can also be enabled for the purpose of reading standard legacy wiegand cards in both directions.
718 Data Converter
Fully programmable data converter for access systems, with Usb interface.
The 718 converter is a user programmable converter which will convert any of the following formats: magnetic stripe (tracks 1 & 2), wiegand (standard, alphanumeric, and aba weigand), serial, wand emulation, and f2f. 716R Data Converter with Relay
Fully programmable data converter for access systems, with an internal relay.
The 716R converter is a user programmable converter which will convert any of the following input data formats to rs232: magnetic stripe (tracks 1 & 2), wiegand (standard, alphanumeric, and aba weigand). Up to 250 bits of data can be read. The converter can also dump wiegand and magstripe data bits to the rs232 port.
The 716R also contains an internal relay, which can be operated serially by sending commands to the converter. The 716R does not have to be used as a data converter, It can be used solely as a serial controlled relay if needed.
718R Data Converter with Relay
Fully programmable data converter for access systems, with an internal relay and Usb interface.
The 718R converter is a user programmable converter which will convert any of the following formats: magnetic stripe (tracks 1 & 2), wiegand (standard, alphanumeric, and aba weigand), serial, wand emulation, and f2f. Up to 250 bits can be processed for both inputs and outputs. The 718R also contains a form-c relay which can be controlled by serial commands. The converter has two inputs and two outputs. One of the inputs supports either track 1 magstripe, track 2 magstripe, or standard wiegand. The other input supports Usb serial. For Rs232 support, see the model 716 converter. Each input is programmed separately and operates independently of the other.
In addition to the conversions which are available, the 718R can also dump received data through the serial port, bit by bit. This is a useful function for debugging or identifying the bit streams from proximity and magstripe cards.
Note that the 718R converter can perform conversions in one direction only. This is due to a limitation on the RJ45 connector. A user-removable jumper on the board allows the 718R to process data from serial (usb) to wiegand, wieaba, alphawie, track1, track2, f2f, and wand emulation, or, convert wiegand, track1, etc. to usb serial.
